Montessori School at Ken Caryl

Montessori School at Ken Caryl is a non-profit preschool and kindergarten serving children 6 weeks to 5 years.

We provide a safe, positive and stimulating environment where children learn to work together in an atmosphere of respectful cooperation and sharing while building a strong academic foundation.

The school will strive to create a community that allows children, parents and staff to develop strong partnerships in education that “follow the child” and respect Dr. Montessori’s commitment to educate the human potential.

• From rolling out their mats to work, to a walk through the zen garden, children love coming to MSKC.
• We mix children in multi-age groups. Teachers aren't their only instructors.
• Children stay with the same teacher for up to three years so they build long-term relationships.
• Our 4 classrooms have 8 Montessori-trained teachers.
• The Montessori method encourages children's independence. Each child is supported to learn at their own pace.
• Before and after-school care is available, and the art easels are always open.
